Converter designed especially for computers without a serial port, for example. newest notebooks. It is compatible with RS-232, however, may not work with devices whose software:

• requires the identification the IRQ

• refers directly to the controller COM port (UART).



Note! The device creates a serial port RS-232 USB port (not the other way around).



The converter is compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Server2003 (32 & 64-bit), Vista (32 & 64-bit), 7 (32 & 64-bit), Server2008 (32 & 64-bit) and Linux 2.4+.
