Compact water softening filter Ecosoft FU0835CABCE

The Ecosoft FU0835CABCE filter is designed to reduce the hardness of domestic water. The system consists of two main components - a module (cylinder with a control valve) and a tank for salt solution.



What is hard water?

To reduce the hardness of domestic water, softener filters such as Ecosoft FU0835CABCE are used. HCR-S/S ion exchange resin (cation exchanger manufactured by Dow, Dowex™) is used as a filter media. During the filtration process, an ion exchange reaction occurs, as a result of which hardness salt ions are replaced by safe sodium ions, normalizing the level of water hardness.
